I just took at look at your claim for my own personal interst as I'm an optus mobile subscriber.
Here are the phone plans that Optus offers and the associated costs:
http://www.optus.com.au/shop/mobile/phone-plans#view-plans
Note: It's worth reading the fine print. The data exclusion offers will be is SD quality for obvious reasons as it requires a smaller bandwidth & less data. So if you are now use to HD quality, would you go back to SD quality given that millions of people have replaced their old SD quality TV sets and replace it them with HD quality.
Keep watching on the go with Mobile TV streaming. You can now stream movies and TV from your favourite streaming services without using your data on selected plans.
All for use in Australia. Fair Go Policy applies. Stream SD video up to 1.5Mbps. Some services require a paid subscription. Streaming services subject to change at any time. Content such as ads incur data charges. Full terms at optus.com.au/stream
Also here is a good link showing the SD vs HD quality:

1. So my question would be are people willing to pay for the benefit of getting those content per month?
2. Will subscribers enjoy the lower quality resolution?
Open for discussion I guess?
