Hey Yo my mate is absolutely not a trader and is only interested in a medium to long term investment. However quite rightly he has a risk tolerance as to the acceptable loss level before you pull the pin. How many times can you be told to hold on as your money disappears?
My fault as I have too much love good for this stock and should have exited ages ago and looked to reenter when the charts said the time was right. But who knew that no announcement would move the share price.
He only invested in the company on my say so and unfortunately I could not convince him I was correct in my assessment of the company in the face of the previous market apathy to SYT.
Hence my point, you can't always believe that the market is right, but it is hard to maintain the faith when you see your money disappearing despite the quality of the announcements.
But that is the market. It will make a mug of you a lot of the time.
