vege ... I think the correct answer is 50% ...
the first child is a boy , so the probability of that child being a boy is 100%;
the probability of the second child being a boy is 50%.
so the probability of them both being male is 100% * 50% = 50%...
but just so I'm clear, so what? are we that bored with FAR we need some light entertainment or are you drawing some inference from our neighbours results???
