    Sorry for newbie question.. but if you are doing T+3 trades what happens with a trading halt?

    If i buy today, usually i would have to sell tomorrow for the funds not to come out of my account correct?
    What happens if ni buy today and there is a trading halt for a few days, do i get a few extra days before the funds come out or doesn't it matter.
