I think it's a combination of disgruntled ex Nearmap employees and the supplier that designed the original nearmap camera pods. Maybe even Stuart Nixon could be involved.
A lot of the ex employees seem bitter with the CEO Simon Crowther and new CFO Gerhard Beukes for the way they were treated as employees.
