The sad thing is that the warning signs were so obvious and so transparent but the narrative here was hijacked
It's no different to society these days, there is a large chunk of the population that just accepts things that are insane and make no sense, I'm sure internally they know they're fundamentally wrong but we are forced to follow whatever the popular narrative is for various reasons.
Then the truth appears, the narrative drivers disappear to another social issue/stock, and its rinse and repeat.
You should always respect independent thinkers who have no agenda and nothing to gain financially against a popular narrative every time.
