just out another top broker downgrade 1529 [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Morgan Stanley downgrades Telstra (TLS.AU) to Underweight
from Equalweight, follows similar downgrade from Macquarie Research yesterday. MS reduces
target to A$3.46 from A$3.69 after Friday's strategy update, says execution and
strategic risks remain, while operating conditions across key three businesses tough.
Also says Telstra remains expensive vs global peers. "Once T3 is behind us, we think
the market will again refocus on the medium- to long-term operational issues, regulatory
concerns, and execution issues, all of which remain significant challenges for
Telstra," broker says. TLS down 2 cents at A$3.72, off earlier low of A$3.67. (LMF)
