    Depends on who you use. So I can only speak for ComSec but if you bought a stock thru them today you have until tomorrow to sell it or you will have to pay the full amount. If you did sell it by tomorrow you would only pay/receive the difference i.e. the profit or loss. ComSec work on a t+1 basis.
