No. When I put a stock in the bottom draw it gets forgotten there until the price comes back. I generally won’t average down or back share issues where my original holding is already in the red. That’s just a rule I follow in most cases in my portfolio management. I never over expose so any losers just become part of the fodder in the bottom draw. That means I only enter stocks that I think have believable metrics or are value propositions in the first place. Any real hope and prayer punts are treated the same way, it’s profits or bottom draw. Eventually if there is no hope of a come back I’ll sell to take the tax loss. I like seeing my bad decisions front and centre, that’s how I learn not to make the same mistakes over and over again.
