Pity, Madmacs has not posted for several years- perhaps not with us anymore? His posts showed a real passion for the squiggly lines and what they may portend for a stock.

Charting signals, from the little that I have read, usually only portend when volume is high. I suppose that makes sense- charts show what the mob is thinking- and that makes most sense when their are a multitude of buyers and sellers- its human psychology.

Because it always amuses me- whenever the news is bad- of course their are extra sellers and volume is high- but their are extra buyers as well- every trade needs both a buyer and seller- it is hard to imagine news so bad that their are no buyers. Buy the dip and ask questions later?

Anyway, thinking that it might still be too early to buy back in- bought too early in 2020. Lesson learned.
