…. FWIW I think charts show way more than a mob behaviour response to any given piece of news.….
Information like little ‘secret’ company skeletons in closets from years ago that you cannot easily find by fundamental research get noted
….so does the impact of competition, the control exerted by the ‘market makers’, what the union thinks, what the CEO eats for breakfast, the weather in peking etc, etc
Plus - to my naive perspective - coming back to those more simple dynamics, they are also an excellent way to read human psychology — the ‘mums and dads’ investors vs the institutions, the importance of a particular staff member and much, much more.
And, and and ….+ + + ?
Eg - How many levels of ‘give and take’ are playing on any company price on any particular day?
- How much kinetic energy has been powered to power the next step up?
- If it’s a downward move then where’s the support?
But I think you were bored yesterday and trying to be a bit provocative?
Based on Calix information I think the environmental savings, once its’ done (and if it works as expected), will be huge.
And I can’t talk fundamental numbers but I do think building supplies will continue to be in demand and in most cases where there are costs blow outs if the business is any good these get recouped.
