You know more than most how these things work - what I saw was the 400+K buy sitting there and it got hit on open. For the rest of the day it was mostly dribbles. A 90k buy failed to take it back up, subsequently there was a bot working hard at odd price points of 34.8 - 34.7 cents most of the arvo keeping it in range. There was no obvious buy appetite or sell pressure until it got whacked 170K going into the close.
Maybe I watch it too much. Didn't feel like amateur hour to me.
Felt more like it got away from them unexpectedly on Thursday and they brought it back to where they wanted it on Friday. There's been strong support in the placement range 29 - 32 cents since May.
