Thanks for replying to my post and taking an open view attitude to my ways of thinking and doing things.

I have to say the I liked the following part of yours which, could be reflective as to why I am thinking along my lines of being in favour of FA's against the TA's.

"The fact is TA does fail often in the wrong hands. It has also been commercialised to a ridiculous degree which has been to the detriment of its workability."
