I think they have done a brilliant job in the marketing department with the merchants they have brought on board. I think any new BNPL based payment system is going to have a hard time expanding in Australia with both Afterpay and ZIp doing so well, none of the big retailers are going to want a confusing mass of payment options.

I think the flaws with ZIP will be keeping a stable platform and how quickly they fix issues, having worked for CBA as an incident manager I saw first hand what a difference a well managed outage makes (noticed on linkedin they are currently recruiting for major incident managers so that's a good step)

Second flaw will be the price to merchant having a small business the 5% of my turnover was enough to keep me away from it
