For some who have difficulty seeing the bigger picture I have thrown in a weekly chart below of  AJX using the Alan Hull weekly multiple moving averages. It is a good way of graphically simulating the behaviour of the shorter and longer term influences on the share price. The short term or pink group of moving averages range from 3 to 13 periods (weeks) and are exponential as are the longer term blue group ranging from 21 to 36 periods (weeks).

You can see the shorter term averages are compressing when the price falls and opening as the price rises so they reflect the activity of the shorter term players. Conversely the longer term MA's tend to reflect the ongoing longer term holders showing that overall the underlying price action in the longer term is pretty stable, rising steadily with periods where there are some pauses reflected by the compressing MA's.

From time to time the shorter term MA's highlight the areas where there might potential entry points. Right now this chart suggests to me that longer term holders have little to be concerned about and should be more focused on entries rather than exits.
