Large after-hours off-market trades have occurred on both Monday and Tuesday afternoons that have not been noticeable previously. It is interesting that they should happen immediately after discussions on this forum about dark pools and possible evidence of price ‘management’, and with the breaking of the daily price pattern of the previous two weeks. It is encouraging that neither was transacted lower than the day’s closing prices, with the latter 300K crossing taking place at the high for the day. I would interpret this as the actions of a serious buyer intending to accumulate.
