A whiplash day - at least it closed above 80 cents and beat the market. Didn't look to good there for a while, very orchestrated selling with constant whipping the carpet out from under the sellers at any sign of buying. I always get suspicious when I see any concentration of centrepoint selling. The sell queue gets quarantined as the buy orders are picked off which inevitably leads to a build up on the sell queue.

Big night tonight after years of zero interest rates in the US. I reckon we saw a day of serious short covering in theOz main market as the heavies have decided to cover their shorts of the last couple weeks before the announcement rather than wait and get caught out at the open tomorrow if the sentiment turns positive. Probably the reason for the US doing ok last night too.

Hopefully some sanity tomorrow.
