Can someone explain this high frequency trading behaviour. Look at the course of sales and at sequences of trades that occur in the same time instance.
The price is pushed lower with small bids in some cases, then a relatively large sale occurs, then the price is incrementally increased with small bids.
It looks like they are trying to mask more significant lower priced sales in the middle of the sequence of transactions.
What is their game plan?
