I agree, a new low or a break down is bad and I am not sure even discussing that scenario is productive at this stage for us longs. If we get a new low, then from a share price perspective, it's all over for a long time and one would be justified in questioning the value of all announcements thus far. You say that good news should be imminent but fact is, we have seen good news regularly for some time now and without any decent sustained share price reaction. So, why would we expect the share price to react any differently to future good announcements? I hope it does but so far it's been a disaster and all the longs including myself have got it badly wrong. Period!
