I went to the IAM roadshow last night and Patrick Canion, the chairman, was talking about the problems created by Hot Copper posters. In his opinion, 95% of the posts on HC are complete rubbish. Sounds about right. I include many of my own posts in that statistic.
If you don't have the capacity to skim over the crap, HC will drive you crazy. I personally believe it should be far more severely moderated. I guess there was a time when the bulk of posts were comments about either FA or TA with some ramping and some banter and bitching. Now the proportions have been reversed.
Sorry we won't be hearing from you, Mr A. You are not just very generous with your analysis, but a true gentleman and I wish there were more of your kind.
