well, technically first time posters appear at two usual points - a. when there's an ann. and from a low base the SP tries to rise and b. when it's under pressure and is 'assisted' on it's way.
It's not hard to get a handle on this thread at all - it's got a history - over 1.2 million posts.
People are aware that news and fundamentals drive TA (and, manipulation) - so, the driving factors are often linked because of context.
it's that simple
TA doesn't exist all by itself out in the universe - something drives it.
