If I am reading it correctly this chart goes back way beyond the Alexium reverse takeover of Evans and Tate in about 2010 so about the first half of the chart is nothing to do with Alexium..

Cup and Handle patterns http://chartpattern.com/cup-handle.cfm are another version of a bullish continuation pattern i.e. a saucer shaped pull back in an uptrend and as far as I know are not all that common these days and are usually seen as a medium term pattern more likely to occur over weeks or maybe a month or two.

No offence to the originator but I would disregard the chart in question, it is meaningless considering the circumstances.
