Please explain to me how the stock is manipulated? The article posted previously was pretty poor quality.

I have been in the market for a long time and some manipulation does happen, but I just do not think it is happening in 1PG.

Here are some ways stocks have been manipulated (other than when the earnings are manipulated, which we know doesn't apply to 1PG!!):

    - false rumours - does this apply to 1PG? - no
    - related party churning i.e. several related players buy and sell stock to each other switching between who is buying and who is selling, this gives the appearance of volume and they can control the price. LIGO SP is a perfect example. This is typically used to push the price of a stock up - does this apply to 1PG? - highly unlikely because for this to work for a falling stock one of the parties would need to have a big short and we can see from the short interest this is not true
    - friends, family and other related parties (although not technically related) buying the stock to bid it up but not having to disclose the substantial shareholding notices (there are lots of HK listed examples of this) - does this apply to 1PG? - highly unlikely given the stock is going down, all the shorts need to be reported to the exchange, there is minimal borrow available and again the short interest is too low
    - mark the stock up or down right on the close - does this apply to 1PG? - no - look at an intraday price history chart

Short selling is not manipulation and insto buying and selling is not manipulation <- this is just a statement of fact.

Again the short interest is way too small, the stock is too liquid and there is no factual basis for manipulation.

If there was a big short interest, the stock was less liquid, there were funny intraday moves particularly near the end of the day and lots of questionable news stories, then this would suggest the likelihood of manipulation. But none of this is happening.

1PG has gone up a lot then fallen a lot. There are a lot of these sort of stories on lots of exchanges. Are all of these manipulated (or just the one that you have seen fall a lot)???

1PG is/was a good concept that was massively hyped, got lots of retail and instos in based on blue sky and now those lofty expectations are getting repriced. There is not a big short interest, there are no false rumours, there is no churning, there is no down ramping or down marking!!! There are just a lot more sellers than buyers for an over-hyped over-owned concept stock. And currently there is a panic going on (which means we are probably close to a short term bottom).

Please tell me where exactly the manipulation is happening? Or even just an example of the type of manipulation that may be occurring in a reasonably liquid stock with minimal short interest?
