Sheer magnitude of sales potential if the drug is even somewhat successful is slowing Alzheimer's - a hideous disease that is the most common cause of dementia (60-80% of cases) and will effect 1/3 of all seniors - we are talking many many billions of dollars in sales revenue for the pharma that manufactures the treatment drug(s) of choice. Correct me if I am am wrong, but NEU is trialing a drug for brain injury and other developmental disorders - has been linked to Rett Syndrome (effects 1 in 10,000 girls). So among other things (e.g., decorated international research team, experienced management, novel drug), ACW has such enormous potential that I believe interest will grow substantially as Phase II progresses...I really believe the potential to make a lot of money here outweighs the risk.
