A subsidiary of Socious Capital Group has agreed to invest $5 million in Earth Heat Resources. Can't be all that bad if investors are willing to tip $5mil into EHR.

Anyway in my view geothermal is viable. It's baseload and the govt has green targets that need to be met. GDY is best placed of all geothermal plays to participate in achieving renewable energy targets.

Any carbon trading scheme = free money for alternative energies, particularly geothermals who have the smallest carbon footprint of all to get projects running. Surplus credits sold on market = free money.

Valuations looking very very low in geothermal stocks. I hold via GDYO, hoping newsflow will see me make some good profit on a relatively small initial outlay. If the underlying touches 30cents or below, i will snap that up to and hold hold hold.
