If I put a buy at 3, 2, or even $1.00... it'll be listed. Same goes for the sell side. Always look at the pips closest to the action, Logged out now, but there was a wall at 4.65, 4.66, so those 5 or 6 pips, against the new buys above the opening price make for a better analysis of the current buy/sell ratio.
Just logged in, and the below is a great example: 70k buy (above 4.59 = 36 buyers) v 114k sell (below 4.69 = 37 sellers).
