Morning all.
Well a pretty varied night in the US last night.
CPI came in at 5% above a forecast of 4.7% but seems like the markets are not too worried. Not enough for the fed to make any changes to asset purchases etc. Bond markets liked the number.
NAS had a good night with money flowing into the tech stocks. Up .78%
DOW Flat SP500 up .47%
ASX Futures dead flat.
LIT ETF is up, held up by very strong Asian markets yesterday.
Unfortunately US Lit companies did not fair so well.
Not sure on the impact here TBH, but certainly expect greater movement today compared to the tight trading ranges for the last couple of days.
Was hoping for a strong NAS and Lit stocks. TSLA is up which is at least a bonus.
