Not a grenade. It's a good discussion topic. I have a certain allotment of GXY shares that are my long term holding and I had vowed would be paying me sweet dividends in my later retirement. Hopefully they still will after the merger, whatever they'll be called then. In the meantime I allocate a certain amount of cash to trade in and out of GXY.
I've mentioned on posts in other forums but the us vs them view is really illogical. As long term holders we have solid FA understanding, we have grown to know how the SP reacts to certain micro and macro factors due to its liquidity, institutional holding, historical data, cool factor etc etc. Pretty enviable position to be in right?
