I really dislike the use of TA only to indicate that the Moon is in view. It's how the TAers got their Hearts.
Every chart emphasises the positive.
Drawing lines off into infinity yet the lines have No Confirmation at all. Those Fork Patterns are the usual suspects.

For example


A is NOT an Uptrend while B is a downtrend
Because Trading under the LT moving average CONFIRMS B and discounts A.

Of course you can say there's an expectation that cup'n'handle patterns may appear in a uptrend
but they WILL NOT until there IS an uptrend.
Where A is pointing is also the only MAYBE cup/n handle in the last TON uptrend.
