The volume of 1.4m today was due to the fact that supply was fairly scarce, was watching it all day like a hawk and the only way for vol to be higher was for the sp to be higher.... If there is only x amount available on the ask and the buyers chew through all that you can only end of with so much vol..... If on the other side supply had of really hit the market vol would have also increased today.....

I get the feeling people want to see stronger volumes but if there arent many willing sellers you really have to push the sp higher to get your vol hence the reasonably wide spread today of 8c....
