Where are you getting the 80% figure from? Being lazy and haven't checked the top 20 recently.
Regardless, I think you sometimes forget pinto that the same share can be bought and sold multiple times a day. If there's demand, traders will be all over it, buying and selling for pips. Not my style, but it's all part of the game.
That 20% can provide an awful lot of volume when buying or selling comes into the scene. Volume simply indicates interest - it's not always going into LT holders hands.
