Truly & deeply sorry to hear that. Not sure what course of action are open to you. You can't possibly cut loss anywhere in the near future. The loss will be too great. I can't even see it getting close to the levels you got in at within a year. Only consolation is at least you are not riding on borrowed funds or margin. Am sure there are alot of us affected who are in more dire situation than yours. You might have to give her the money to cover her loss & take it as your loss. I have done that with my own neice.
