Mitta and Dr Suess : I'm not attacking anyone here merely pointing out the example given of 65 cents profit versus 27 cents is if you are fortunate enough to predict bottoms and tops exactly . In reality both systems work and results are dependent more upon time spent researching. Personally whilst I don't technically chart and tend to base my investment decisions on fundamentals , I do time my decisions based upon much of the information provided by trading analysis - in reality a combination of both worlds - its what works for me . If what you do works then great keep doing it. ( But to compare chartists if right 60% of the time with fundamentalists wrong 98% of the time is a bit far fetched )
