I do not think a major shareholder is exiting (if that is the case, most of the time major shareholders will keep the price steady or make it go up so that retail investors will pick up thinking the price will go up). I guess the main problem was risk appetite. AGL beeing a low risk (thus less reward) they would have put the money into riskier assets which would have yielded more return.
