It does not take a lot of money to drag a SP down. There just has to be a lack of demand.
As for Gaps there may be an element of buyers not willing to step up until the gap is filled. There are plenty of traders that base their strategy around targeting gaps.
And other FA buyers will stay out until there is certainty.
So we await demand.
