If the US thinks they can bluff Putin, we are stuffed. Russia has superior nuclear delivery systems. The aims of the US are obvious as they site nukes around Russia. IMO The US really don't need to do that with the strike capabilities of their carrier fleets. I guess it is designed to draw strikes away from the US. My feeling is that with the US threatening war Putin's first target COULD be Washington.
