Bets are nowhere near off. There's plenty happening behind the scenes. Two clear scenarios that will eventuate: either Tabcorp accept an offer for everything or just wagering; if not the company will itself announce a demerger. Either way it's a win for shareholders after so many years of inept management. These guys have the biggest wagering franchise in the country yet they sat back and watched everyone come in and take market share without so much as a yelp.
