Agree - very foolish by the company to take this approach and would not usually be advised by anyone in PR.
What they are doing is recognising Chris Behrenbruch's expertise, and that is why they are threatened, but now they have drawn attention to him, and allowed him to elaborate in his blog as to the reasons for why he said what he said with scientific / clinical and personal justification.
I am not a lawyer - but I cant see OSL has had any loss - look at the share price in response to his previous blog postings... All they had were some phone calls from shareholders that they had trouble justifying, yet CB has justified his rationale for his comments.
For those who have done their corporate training, this phenomena is called "The Streisand effect"... after Barbra !
