Let's put together a simple checklist for Identifying an investment-grade biotech. Here's my first suggestion:
RULE No. 1:
Avoid all companies who make legal threats against persons who raise reasonable concerns about the company.
Why? Because making legal threats against our critics doesn't sound like very grown-up behaviour. Responding to the criticisms and fixing the problems, if necessary, sounds more grown-up to me. I'd like to invest in companies that are run by the most mature people possible.
