If China invades Taiwan the Western World may follow suit and slap financial and trade sanctions on China.

In my opinion FMG, Rio, BHP and co. could be affected if such sanctions were to exist.

    I believe that
this could cause the cessation of Australian ore shipments to China.

What do holders think FMG can do to insulate itself from such a crises?

Has there been any work within the company to prepare itself from such a disaster?

I believe that Brazil has refused to sanction Russia, as it basically needs fertilizer, adopting a 'neutral stance'.

I assume that they may do the same in an event of a Taiwanese invasion, thereby becoming a major supplier of ore to China.

In my opinion global ore prices may spike, but who would end up buying all of our rusty dirt?

Any comments or discussion on this topic would be appreciated.

This is all in my opinion, hypothetical and not intended as investment advice.
