I think you are purposely trying to misled people here who didn't know much about the situation.

The USA walks a fine line. They do not recognise it is a part of China. And the same for Australia concerning Taiwan.

The wording is critical that most would not realise.

USA and Australia recognises that China has a policy called the "one China policy". But they never said it is their own country policy to say China owns Taiwan. And they refrain from having offical relations with Taiwan to allow China to sell it to its local population.


It is the best western countries are willing to offer that they say.. hey yeah we know you have this policy. Otherwise it is a grey zone.

And for China it is good enough to save face and present it to the local audience as something slightly different. Most regulars wont bother to look into the details that deeply.
