Why do they need to have a plan in place if it isn't a question of whether China invade or not?
If there is no question, then just go with the 'no invasion therefore no planning' option and get on with life.
So it absolutely is a question, and is relevant, and I'd guess that FMG have looked at it (as have the rest of the world) and probably accounted about a 1-2% chance of it happening.
And, in all seriousness - there is no planning that can be done by a company for losing 1 customer who makes up 80%+ of their business.
