On the contrary, IMO HK is the "warm-up" act for Taiwan. Just think about eh? Nato (defacto the USA) is not willing to engage Russia directly in the Ukraine because of the risk of all out Nuke war, so, IMO, it will be a similar scenario with Taiwan.
Why do you think it will be any different to the Ukraine?
Just imagine how stupid it would sound now if Potatoe Head had said to Russia a year ago:
"If you invade the Ukraine, Aus will declare war on you" ? ......!!!!!
