Its a simple trick. Labor promised (lied) about dropping power bills by $275. They cant drop power bills using their current green renewable madness. Bills will keep rising which drives inflation. They used the $300 amount to try and make it look like it wasn't paying for the lie. The big problem with this $300 cheque is that it's stimulatory. That is also inflationary. These people are idiots trying to buy dumb voters. This stuff locks in higher rates for struggling households. Labor can't help themselves. They should not be handing out $300 to everyone without means testing and they dont need to do it. The truth is they want to look like they are helping people, but they are making it worse. Stop spending money you tools, and let the economy slow down on the inflation front. Biden is another idiot overspending and driving inflation higher. All the govt numbers on employment and inflation are manipulated crap for children to follow. The cost of living is extremely high and govt is directly responsible.
