I spent a few days thinking about this over the weekend.
Imo its in Andrew forrests Best interests to supply quality tissue to ahz.
Im actually not even sure why this is a stress for some people.
If i was af selling beef, and as the largest shareholder, id be asking and promoting too.
If i was ahz, id be thinking it a positive sign that we could source
1. From our largest shareholder
2. Who has a vested interest to ensure our survival - minimise cr and afs dilution.
3. Can and does sell quality beef for reputation
4. Who stands to make more from adapt being successful than the offel he is selling.
Regarding a tender process which can have many other factors besides cost for being successful
1. The company is under NO obligation to accept the cheapest tender
2. The tender could be based on proximity to supplier in Malaga
3. Commitment by tenderer to work closely with ahz
4. A certain and minimum standard of product
5. Have a quality control process
Lastly
If cogs were out of control, this comment might merit more debate but imo isnt really an issue.
