    I don't disagree with your comments one bit, but I would like to hear your opinions (and others on this) Wayne slashed our sales teams back to three, we have now added an additional 7 company reps. Now fully trained and using the correct sales management tools required to compete.. We also use an additional 16 independent manufacturing sales reps. Now I don't know if these where used in our first attempt to crack the market.

    A manufacturer representative is the most widely used type of agent. These types of reps are typically used in the following situations:
    • When there is lack of a sales force for the manufacturer. The manufacturer's rep will do all of the selling.
    • When introducing a new product into the market.
    • When there is a new market the company wants to enter, but the market is not fully developed for their own sales force to be used.
    • When it is more cost-effective than using the company’s personnel. The sales potential may not justify the cost of using the company’s sales force

    To me this appears as a different approach using external sales reps?? And I guess the only way we will see if this approach works is tracking the next quarterly report.
