The SAG mill in question is a major new addition as part of the plant expansion to 200koz pa.

The old existing plant had two small ball mills.

I am assuming that the ball mills can still operate as a fallback until the SAG power supply modules can be replaced.

Overall plant process control may well be compromised but they may be able to continue processing ore under manual operator intervention.

Either way, 45 days is hardly an issue from an investors viewpoint although as chuk infers it may well be a useful opportunity for traders.
