I can't help but comment however; I have owned a P/V or two during my life and got up to a bit of mischief in the back as well. So sleeping in a van as you guys are planning, I thought I might mention condensation.
I don't know if you have thought about it or prepared for the wet drips if you have not. A simple remedy is to glue carpet tiles on the ceiling/inside roof of the van. Helps as a bit of insulation as well.
Anyway, it's been on my mind for ages and I figured I might as well say something.
