@big e - I have recovered surprisingly well, but will need more tests done - but the hospital is in no hurry, they found no evidence of a heart attack whilst I was in there for almost 1 day - but they referred me to a heart specialist, but he/she is in no hurry, it seems - so I am guessing I will have further tests after Christmas.

Heat does not bother me - it gets pretty cold in my house over the winter, - so I don't mind a bit of heat - but, of course, I restrict my outdoor efforts to the early mornings.

I listened to Radio National this morning reporting on disalloweds - seems Covid has thrown everyone a curve ball, and the latest version has made the markets jittery. According to Norman Swann though, the new Omicron virus seems to be a mild version of Covid19 and it is assumed that vaccination will protect sufficiently that if infection occurs, it will manifest like a mild cold. I have only had the two jabs - third one due in February.
All assumptions, of course, but we have only had a few cases in Australia so far. Shame about slamming the doors shut again, though, many businesses will suffer, including the stock market.
    Take care
