    And to me. Every Thursday when we babysit our grand-daughters we lay the table and insist on knives and forks ( the eldest is four, but she copes). The fork is a fork and not a shovel. Bread and butter plates... and no TV. So proud of her when we had our early Christmas lunch - she laid the table for 6 (only 4 of us, but there were 6 chairs) She got all the cutlery right, everyone had glasses, plates and serviettes. She even used her dancing Christmas tree as the centrepiece. The lollies and cheezels were strategically placed just in front of her plate... and everyone had 2 bonbons each! She was so pleased with herself.
